As Proverbs 27:17 (NIV) says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

My personal goal and the purpose of this site is to sharpen others and be sharpened.

I don’t share thoughts, lessons, and experiences because I think I have it all figured out—I share because I want to grow, I want to help others grow, and I genuinely care about people.

With about three decades in leadership roles, one thing I’ve learned for sure is: I still don’t know nothin’!

I’m not a leadership guru—just a lifelong learner and servant.

I’ve walked through the highs and lows of leadership. I’ve listened, encouraged, and stood with others who’ve been beaten down as leaders or by leaders. And I’ve tried to remind people of a hidden superpower we all have: Choice.

Some folks want and appreciate help. Others are about as interested in it as my wonderful wife Leslie is in giving up dark chocolate—and that’s okay. This site wasn’t built for everyone. It was built for those who truly want to be sharpened—and who want to help sharpen others.
